Generation Citizen's action civics class gives students the opportunity to experience real-world democracy through student-driven projects where youth learn how to effect policy change by engaging with local government and leaders to solve community problems.
The Public Science Project uses Participatory Action Research (PAR) methods while collaborating with academics, community organizations, schools, prisons, and public institutions to design, conduct, and support research and practice aimed at interrupting injustice.
With their Action Civics curricula and programming Mikva Challenge helps young people develop civic knowledge, leadership skills, and transform their attitudes about political participation with lifelong impacts on their professional and personal success
With a three-pronged mission of knowledge, voice, and action, Black Youth Project is committed to producing research about the ideas, attitudes, decision making, and lived experiences of black youth, especially as it relates to their political and civic engagement.
